ORDER FROM BEL FOR MANUFACTURE OF 2.4 M VSAT REFLECTOR SYSTEM

In continuation of the good work we have done with BEL Ltd over the past 2 years, we have been awarded a contract for serial manufacture of a complex 2.4 M CFRP antenna reflector system. The product involves stringent profile tolerances, and integration of metallic back-up structure.

ORDER FROM BEL FOR MANUFACTURE OF 1M MULTIPIECE REFLECTOR

Valdel successfully developed and manufactured a 1M multipiece antenna reflector system for BEL in March 2021. This antenna system has stringent requirements such as assembly within 90 seconds and 500 micron profile accuracy. Based on the success of this development effort, we have embarked on a serial manufacture project for this product. This is an import substitution product, fully aligned with the Government of India’s Atmanirbhar (Self Reliance) Program.

EXPANSION OF MANUFACTURING FACILITY BY 20000 SQ FT

To cater to our rapid growth, we have embarked on an expansion program at our existing facility. This new facility will house an 8m autoclave and provide an additional 20,000 sq feet of manufacturing space.

ORDER FROM DRDO DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF NAVAL DOORS

In the face of major competition, Valdel put in a very innovative bid for the design and development of water-tight gas-tight and fire-resistant doors for the Indian Navy. Our strategic design partner, RUAS was a member of the consortium. This unique Industry academia combination, along with our grasp of the work involved impressed the customers, and they awarded the contract to Valdel on December 14th, 2020.Once completed, Valdel will be the sole company that has a fully tested and certified A-60 Naval door in the world. BEST VENDOR AWARD FROM HAL

This is something we are extremely proud of – In our very first year of engagement with our biggest customer, HAL Ltd, we were recognized as the Best Performing Vendor. This happened during the worst period of the pandemic, while all our employees worked under very trying circumstances. While thanking HAL for this award, we acknowledge the wonderful contribution of each member of Team Valdel who was involved in this project.

UAV OF GA USED FOR COVID PROTECTION IN BENGALURU

In the fight against the global coronavirus pandemic, the Bangalore City Corporation requisitioned the services of 6 drones for spraying of disinfectant across the city. The drones have been designed and built by General Aeronautics and are deployed by Alpha Drone Technologies. Each drone can carry 15 liters of disinfectant and can spray 6 sqm per second.
Valdel Advanced Technologies has built the Carbon fiber airframe for this drone and is proud to have contributed in a small way by using its technical capabilities to combat this problem.

JETMX DISPLAYED IN DEFEXPO KANPUR

The MEAT UAV (Manoeuvrable Expendable Aerial Target) whose airframe was built by VALDEL AT was showcased by our Customer Nfotec Digital Engineering at Defexpo 2020 in Lucknow from Feb 5th to 9th, 2020, and evoked high interest from potential customers.

Order from HAL

Valdel has bagged its first order from HAL Ltd, India’s premier Aviation company. The order is for CFRP components for the Dhruv Advanced Light Helicopter. We value our relationship with HAL and look forward to supporting them in many more areas in future

Order from BEL

Valdel wins an order from BEL for manufacture of of 0.7 m diameter Antenna reflectors. The reflectors are made of CFRP and designed for extremely fine surface tolerances.

Valdel gets NADCAP accreditation:

We are proud that we have received NADCAP accreditation in a record time of less than eighteen months from commencement of commercial manufacture. Valdel is the only composites manufacturer to be NADCAP accredited for Liquid Resin Processing

Valdel wins order for manufacture of MEAT Jet UAV

Valdel has won an order for manufacture of all aerospace structures for a Jet UAV that will be used by the Indian Armed Forces as a Maneuverable Expendable Aerial Target Vehicle.

Valdel despatches 100 M long Infantry Bridge:

Valdel successfully manufactures a 100 M long modular composite infantry foot bridge for the Indian Armed Forces. This is a complex project that involves manufacture of detailed metallic parts, composite decking and final assembly and testing of various subsystems.

Valdel signs MOU with Russian Helicopters

Mr. M.J.Shantharam, Managing Director, Valdel Advanced Technologies, and Mr. Andrey Boginsky, Director General, Russian Helicopters JSC signing the MOU.

At a function during Aero India, the International Air Show in Bangalore in February 2019, Valdel Advanced Technologies signed an MOU with Russian Helicopters JSC for manufacture of critical composite parts for the Ka 226T program that involves supply of 200 helicopters to the Indian MOD.

Team from Valdel participates in International Composites Battle in Moscow

A Team from Valdel and RUAS represented India in the International Composites Battle, held in Moscow in December 2018. Team Valdel consisted of H Vikhyat and Ravi Gowda. The team did well in the grueling competition and stood fifth overall amongst teams from Russia, Myanmar and Turkey.

Valdel signs Strategic Agreement with Dynamatic Technologies.

As part of its strategy to offer complete solutions to customers, Valdel signed a strategic partnership agreement with Dynamatic Technologies in October 2018. The partnership provides Valdel’s customers the option to access the range of world class capabilities in metal parts and assemblies from Dynamatic Technologies. It also permits Dynamatic Technologies to source composite components and assemblies from Valdel.

Valdel gets AS 9100 accreditation.

After a rigorous audit by TUV SUD, Valdel received AS 9100 D accreditation for design and manufacture of composite components and assemblies in July 2018. It is a matter of pride that Valdel was able to get certified within 6 months of commercial manufacture. It is also noteworthy that Valdel is the only composites manufacturer in India to receive accreditation for composites design also.
